2018 Membership Expectations

As an AHA PULSE DC member, we ask you to help support the mission of the American Heart Association by living a heart-healthy lifestyle and by:

  • Serving as an ambassador for Heart in 2018
  • Making a tax deductible donation of $100 or more to AHA PULSE DC by January 31
    • If using a payment schedule, the first installment must be paid by January 31st
  • Advocating on behalf of the AHA PULSE DC mission and its initiatives
    • Volunteering at year-round events, including RECESS (as-needed)
  • Attending one or more PULSE events throughout the year, in addition to Heart After Dark (February) and Paint the Town Red (October)
  • Promoting events to your friends and networks, regardless of individual ability to attend
    • All membership payments, ticket sales attributed to you, fair market value of auction items procured, and applicable donations will count towards this total Committing to an annual fundraising goal of $1,000

In return for your commitment and support, the American Heart Association agrees to:

    • Host several opportunities for networking with other young professionals
    • Recognize you on the AHA PULSE DC website, http://dcpulse.org
    • Provide helpful, mission-focused information about how you and your loved ones can live healthier, stronger lives
